Alpha TAU Medical – a dynamic medical device start-up developing breakthrough technology (AlphaDaRT) to treat solid cancer tumors – is looking for an experienced IT Specialist. As an IT Specialist, you will manage and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high standards of security, performance, and reliability across office, cloud, and on-premises environments. We are looking for a highly skilled, proactive, and service-oriented IT professional with strong communication skills. On-site position Responsibilities: * Manage and continuously improve the company’s IT infrastructure (office, cloud, on-premises). * Ensure the security of company data, networks, endpoints, and backup systems. * Monitor and maintain licensing, hardware, and operational capacity; manage IT inventories. * Deploy patches, updates, and security enhancements. * Respond to security alerts and handle business-critical IT issues. * Recommend and implement IT best practices, architecture, and processes. * Lead IT projects, including design, deployment, and optimization of IT systems and services. * Drive continuous improvements in IT operations. * Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex IT issues for the global team. * Establish and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Qualifications: * Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role. * Strong expertise in cloud technologies (Azure, Office365, IIS) and Windows environments. * Hands-on experience with networks, databases, storage systems, and IT security management. * Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and incident response. * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong service orientation. * High level of English (written and verbal). * Willingness to stay up to date with emerging technologies and security trend
