In 2013, I enlisted in the Israel Defense Forces and served in the Ordnance Corps. I passed the Weapon Systems and Optics course and was assigned as Commander of the Photography and Spare Parts division, of the Optronics Division as a Buyer in the field of optical and thermal vision equipment.
After service of one- and one-half years, I was promoted to Chief Buyer in the Optronics division in the field of electricity and generators.
In 2006 I was discharged from the Israel Defense Forces with the rank of Staff Sergeant, after I had rejected an offer to serve in the standing army.
