• Conducted a research project that was carried out at the School of Electrical Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Pavel Ginzburg. It focused on developing a method for light-triggered controlled release of molecular cargo at the single-cell level using vaterite capsules. The research included several stages starting from synthesizing and optimizing the ideal capsule in terms of loading capacity to more advanced stages of identifying the optimal light intensity and exposure time for a continuous controlled drug release.
• Gained knowledge in using advanced lab tools such as confocal laser scanning microscopy and the scientific plotting program Veusz.
