Benzylic Activation of Tyrosine via a Quinone Methide
Intermediate
Enantioselective synthesis and benzylic activation of tyrosine
proceeding via a quinone methide intermediate, aimed at
constructing a cyclic peptide scaffold mimicking the core of the
antibiotic Dynobactin A. Developed a scalable and efficient
multi-step synthetic route incorporating selective aromatic
activation and chiral phase-transfer catalysis.
Kinetic Study Contribution – ACS Catalysis
Rerformed kinetic measurements for an aerobic oxidative
coupling reaction of N-substituted 2-aminonaphthalenes
catalyzed by a homogeneous iron complex.
Collected time- and concentration-dependent data under
controlled conditions for reaction analysis and inclusion in a
peer-reviewed publication[1
